Morning Dublin !
The post-Paddy's buzz is fading but the news certainly isn't. The Dubs are in a relegation dogfight in Salthill at 3:30pm today, one of the most important league games in years. There's a big tourist tax proposal doing the rounds after last week's festival bonanza. Renée Rapp is at the 3Arena tonight. And if you haven't been up to Griffith Avenue recently get up there this week. The blossom is coming. ☘️
⛅ WEATHER:
Today in Dublin: ☁️ Cloudy. High of 8°C.
Tonight: 🌧️ Light rain. Low of 3°C.
Wind: Moving at 9 mph from the west.

Gray Hair? This Is How You Reduce It Naturally
Dye fixes gray hair… by giving you a new problem: looking dyed. Particle Anti-Gray Serum is the all-natural, non-dye, no-mess solution for men who want their real color back, not a recreation of it.
The 5-second daily spray works gradually at the root to restore pigment for natural, visible results on your hair and beard.
Unlike hair dyes that aggressively color your hair and require annoying upkeep, Particle Anti-Gray Serum is clean and extremely easy to use. It stimulates the melanin inside the hair and does not use artificial color.

📰 NEIGHBORHOOD NUGGETS
Northside · Drumcondra / Marino
The cherry blossom on Griffith Avenue is starting to come. If you haven't been up Dublin's famous tree-lined avenue recently, now is the time to go. The 3km stretch — the longest tree-lined residential avenue in Europe — should be in full bloom within 10 to 14 days. On a bright spring afternoon it is genuinely one of the most beautiful things in the city. Get your walk in this week before the crowds descend. It's free, it's stunning, and it's completely Northside. 🌸
Northside · Raheny / Clontarf / Howth Road
A heads-up for Northside bus users this week. Routes 6 and 32x are both diverted on the Howth Road and James Larkin Road from March 16th until June 16th 2026 — that's a three-month diversion on two of the busiest Northside coastal routes. On Route 6 towards Abbey Street and Route 32x towards UCD, services divert via Howth Road, Raheny, Watermill Road and Clontarf Road. Also today: Stop 1511 Tolka Vale on the Finglas Road is suspended until 4pm — use Stop 1510 Ballyboggan Road nearby instead. Check transportforireland.ie before heading out.
Dublin Economy · Good News
Some genuinely good economic news from this week that slipped under the radar amid all the Paddy's coverage. Ireland received its first credit rating upgrade from S&P since May 2023 — meaning the ratings agency now holds Ireland at its highest rating of any leading credit agency. That's a vote of confidence in the country's finances from one of the most scrutinised financial bodies in the world — and a boost to Dublin's status as a base for international business. Dublin is the engine of that economy.
Northside Docklands / Dublin Tech
Ireland's space sector is booming and Dublin is right at the heart of it. Minister Dillon this week welcomed strong growth and global success in Ireland's space sector, with Irish-based companies winning major contracts across satellite technology, earth observation and space-tech manufacturing. Many of these firms are headquartered in Dublin's IFSC and Docklands area on the Northside. It's not the most visible industry — but it's one of the fastest-growing employers in the city right now.
Dublin-Wide · Tourism Boost
The full Paddy's week numbers are starting to come in and they are seriously impressive. Fáilte Ireland estimates that last year's St. Patrick's Festival saw 589,000 people attend, generating €138m in revenue from visitors. This year was bigger and busier by most accounts. On top of that, January 2026 visitor numbers to Ireland were up 27% compared to January 2025 — a significant rebound. The tourism sector is well and truly back in growth mode heading into the main season. Every Northside and Southside hospitality business will have felt it this week. 🍀

👋 WRAP UP
Eyes on Salthill at 3:30pm. Come on the Dubs, we do not want Division 2 football. Get up to Griffith Avenue this week for the blossom. And if you're heading out tonight, Renée Rapp at the 3Arena or Paco Peña at the NCH are both genuinely brilliant options. Have a good Sunday, Dublin.
Back tomorrow morning, Monday edition with whatever happened in Salthill and all the week ahead. 🍀
